Over the past years work at home jobs has been a resort to the unemployed and entrepreneurs in order to make a decent living working online. Even the employed in their spare time also tap into this online business as an alternative way to make more money for themselves. Work at home jobs is widespread all over the internet but the problem is identifying the right jobs to sign up for and sticking to the job. While so many people have been able to make good money off the internet, some are still struggling to make a cent by doing work at home jobs.
Sometime ago I picked up a book “Multiple Streams of Income” by Robert Allen and he discussed leveraging on the internet as one of the streams of income. He is into real estate and has been able to carve a niche for himself by also coming into the online world to make good money most times working from the comfort of his own. One thing I observe about the successful internet gurus is that they stick to one online business and grow it over time; hence their reason for being successful in the online world. They take it one at a time. The reasons why most people will never make a dime of the internet are not far-fetched and would be discussed below:
Too Many Distractions: Have you ever been on the internet trying to promote a product and as you surf, you see an AD that says “How would you like to make $3000 everyday”, and then it hits your head and you begin the imagine what life would be with you earning that much from working at home every day.? Then you click on the link and follow it, you sign up from this program and then to your surprise you can’t even make a dime from it. You keep surfing the internet and another pop up comes up, this time with a beautiful sales page that displays the internet marketer in front of a mansion by the beach side with a Range Rover Sport and every good thing of life and then it hits you again and you begin to imagine.
At the end of the sales page says “Click her to buy” and then you punch in your credit card number and pay for the product hoping to suck the internet dry and make good money from working at home. You follow the instructions for a week or two and then you are frustrated because you are not getting instant gratification. It keeps going on and on. You will never make a dime from any online business if you keep acting this way. Avoid all forms of distraction and stick to one online business. If you want to make money as an affiliate, you stick to it, learn and enhance your knowledge on how successful affiliates make it, if you want CPA, or Google AdSense, or Data entry, just follow and stick to one. After you must have started making money on the internet from one venture and you are a master then you can now consider another work at home business.
